J Fest Summer Festival: 25 August, 2018
Taking place every August, J Fest is your chance to experience the best that Jyrgalan offers travelers. With horse games, dancing, yurts, crafts, and a feast of traditional foods, this one-day event takes place within walking distance of the village, making it convenient for independent travelers staying in the village, and even those visiting on a day-trip from Karakol.
Winter Festival
Winter is something that Jyrgalan does better than most places in this world — we don’t just have snow, we love it. Blanketing the mountains in a fresh powder, the Winter Festival celebrates the season of skiing, snowshoeing, and all winter adventures. We offer a range of winter sports in Jyrgalan (including the best freeride skiing in the region), so join our annual winter festival each November for games, food, and celebrations.
